New college education benefits now available for veterans and dependents
New education benefits will be available for U.S. veterans, reservist, guards, and dependents beginning Aug. 1. Navarro College is now accepting applications for the fall 2009 semester.
Call and schedule an appointment on the Corsicana campus with the college’s veterans’ certifying official Kay Schipper at (903) 875-7347, or send your e-mail requests to: kay.schipper@navarrocollege.edu.
For those who reside in Ellis County, Schipper will be on the Waxahachie campus: July 16, Aug. 4, and Aug. 20, from 8 to 11 a.m. and from 3 to 5 p.m.; and on the same dates on the Midlothian campus from noon to 1:30 p.m.
