New Grad Turns Part-Time Internship Into Full-Time Job

With an unemployment rate up to a 26-year high of 9.5 % in June, I get excited when I hear positive stories from new graduates who have somehow managed to land an internship or a job. Today’s story is from Liz Castoro who shares her experience with networking as she tries to secure a full-time job but lands a part-time internship instead. The really awesome part of this story is that within 2 days the company was authorized to hire another full-time employee and Liz was immediately selected for the job. Great job Liz!
