International Student Gets Full Time Job

Internship success stories always catch my interest and this one is especially interesting because it not only shows the connection between internships and jobs; but it tells the
story of how one student from Ghana was able to overcome the obstacles faced by many international students and secure employment while still living in the US.

Although it is reported that only 20% of new graduates seeking employment right after college have secured full time jobs this year, The National Association of Colleges & Employer’s (NACE) student survey reported that 73% of these new graduates who were hired to work after graduation, completed an internship sometime during their college career.
