GIS Summer Internships in New Jersey

By admin On May 3, 2009 Under Internships

New Jersey Highlands Water Protection and Planning Council just posted a GIS Internship located in Chester, NJ. This position is unpaid and students can elect to get credit for the internship by going through their college.

This is a great opportunity for students who wish to advance their knowledge of location based technology in a regional planning context. Although the position is unpaid, it is an excellent opportunity to put classroom learning to the test in a real work environment that provides the practical experience employers seek when hiring.

For more information and to check out qualifications for the position, students can visit the recent
online posting
. Students can also find out more about the Highlands Council by looking at their website.
